Skiarea Peio
Skiarea Peio
A beautiful place both in winter and in summer
In the heart of the Stelvio National Park, at the foot of the Ortles-Cevedale mountains, Peio, the highest municipality in Trentino, is also the oldest tourist resort in the Val di Sole, right in the Stelvio National Park. This authentic natural heritage, charmingly enhanced by the wintry atmosphere is the perfect setting to the location, making it an ideal destination for families with children who are seeking a tranquil environment that is also unique and enchanting.
Peio's ski area extends over the slopes of Mount Viòz and has state-of-the-art lifts, such as the Peio-Tarlenta gondola lift. As well as the group of slopes and the long route down from the old Mantova refuge from Doss dei Gembri, where you can glimpse chamois and deer, the Stelvio National park can be admired on foot or accompanied by a Park Guide, on snow shoes, along the many itineraries that take you around the malghe and forests.
